RELIANCE ON RENEWABLE ENERGY

At Airolam, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We have implemented a range of initiatives to reduce our environmental impact, with the adoption of renewable energy sources — such as solar panels — being a key priority. We are steadily increasing our reliance on clean energy to reduce our carbon footprint and are proud to currently meet xx% of our energy needs through renewable sources.

REUSE OF WATER

At Airolam, we are dedicated to preserving water — one of our planet’s most precious resources — through a range of focused initiatives. We strive to minimise water consumption through reduction, recycling, and reuse. To this end, we have installed filtration plants to enable the reuse of wastewater, helping us conserve more water with every cycle. Our goal is to achieve zero discharge in the future, while continuously working to replenish and restore water sources. Through these practices, we are not only conserving vital resources but also making a lasting positive impact on the environment.

As a testament to our commitment to sustainability and preserving resources for future generations, we have to date planted over 5,000 trees on our premises, making a meaningful contribution to the health of our planet.

As a company, we believe it is our corporate responsibility to direct our resources towards creating positive change for underserved communities. To date, we have demonstrated our commitment to society and the environment by allocating a significant portion of our profits to holistic community development through a range of initiatives.

Blanket Distribution – “An Initiative to Serve the Underserved”

As a responsible corporation, we take meaningful steps across education, empowerment, provision, and environmental protection. Through our blanket distribution initiative, we provide care during winter to homeless and destitute populations by distributing blankets.

Empowerment Through Education – “An Initiative to Empower Girls Through Education”

India has a significant number of girls who are denied access to education — an inequality reflected in the country’s low female literacy rates, high dropout rates among girls, and limited academic achievement. In response, we have launched initiatives to empower girls through education, providing comprehensive academic and material support to girls who have been denied schooling.

Mask Distribution – “An Initiative to Promote Health and Hygiene Awareness”

In response to the growing threat of airborne diseases, we continuously take steps to promote health and hygiene awareness. Under this initiative, we distribute masks and related products and spread public awareness.
